Newly built, to the highest standard, these Bord Failte approved cottages are located 7 miles west of Skibbereen and 8 miles east of Ballydehob.
Situated in approximately 20 acres of private land shared only with one other house, much of it along the shoreline.
The views are lovely, looking across to Roaring Water Bay and distant Mount Gabriel one way and over to Ringarogy Island and the mouth of the Ilen River the other.
Beyond the differences listed above both houses are virtually the same, finished to the highest standards, with full oil fired central heating, open fires in the sitting room. Flooring is a combination of quarry tiling and neutral shaded natural carpeting where appropriate. TV, video & radio. Duvets on all beds. Cot and high chair. There is a comfortable three-piece suite. Modern fitted kitchens with gas hobs and el. ovens. Microwave and dishwasher. Washing machine and dryers are located in a nearby laundry building which facilitates both houses for the time being.
The houses are new and nothing has been spared to make them both comfortable and tasteful.
Julie & Michael Williams are the key holders and live in the third house on the property. Michael will answer any queries concerning the running of the house and be happy to arrange boat hire (approximately €160 per week), sailing tuition or trips for you during your stay.
A local caterer is willing to cook for parties, picnics and so forth.
